VOLCANO FISHING ADVENTURE

FROM 117,000 ISK

The Highlands are truly the heart of Iceland. With its unparalleled beauty and epic scenery, offering you a fishing experience unlike any other. Here you can truly become one with nature as the Highlands are untouched by man. The vast wilderness – mountains, deserts, canyons, lakes and rivers – demonstrates the powerful forces of fire and ice which have shaped the landscape on this volcanic island over centuries.

Amidst all of this beauty, there is the trout and the arctic char – filling the lakes of the Highlands like they have done for thousands of years. Join FISH PARTNER for an experience that is hard to put into words – and has to be lived!

This trip has it all! Starting with the great lakes of the South East Highlands, ever so popular with Icelanders, you will get the opportunity to fish in various lakes, such as Frostastadavatn and Volcano Lake. These lakes are mostly inhabited by arctic char and brown trout which are found in great numbers in these lakes. Whether or not you love to fish or prefer to go hiking and sightseeing, you will not be disappointed by the environment which is both diverse and breathtaking. The black sands, craters, lava, moss, crystal clear lakes and streams interspersed with muddy, reddish-brown glacial lakes and giant water falls are truly a sight to see. The trip will conclude with an unforgettable thermal swim in the hot spring stream in Landmannalaugar. What a way to end the day!

Don’t miss this chance to experience one of Icelands (and the world’s) best fishing spots. Let Fish Partner show you the best.
