After lunch, it’s off to the last stop of the day, one of Iceland’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Þingvellir National Park. It was here that the first parliament in Iceland took place, located in the rift zone of where the tectonic plates are pulling apart. This is a perfect place for some easy walks through beautiful nature. You will be back in Reykjavík in the late afternoon.
