Tour description

Your Hidden Iceland guide will pick you up at 7:00 am from the Reykjavik dock of the Jewel of the Seas ship on June 16th 2021 to commence our South Coast tour. We start the day by witnessing the powerful Skógafoss waterfall, rumoured to be where a viking treasure is hidden behind, before taking the easy and short hike up the glacier valley up to Sólheimajökull glacier where we’ll get great views of this icy giant up close. After we continue east to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. The basalt column rock formations on the headland here are an astounding natural sight to see. There will be time to grab lunch at the Black Sand Restaurant. From here we start to make our way back west towards Reykjavík, but not before visiting Seljalandsfoss waterfall where we can walk behind and get beautiful views of this thunderous waterfall. From here we drive back into Reykjavík to be on the cruise ship by 4:00 pm.

Tour information

Pick up time: 7:00 am from the dock in Reykjavík (which cruise ship dock is still to be confirmed)
Inclusions: Reykjavík pick up and drop off, transportation in our comfortable mini bus, led by one of our wonderful guides for the duration of the day
Exclusions: Meals
Tour price: Price is 13,500 ISK (approx. US $99) per person based on 14 guests.

Pricing Table

Below are the prices based on final number of guests. Prices paid will be in ISK, the USD is just an indication of currency exchange rates at May 28th. Currency fluctuations may occur.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking and payment must occur in full to guarantee your spot on the tour. Payment is via credit card (Mastercard or Visa only) and includes all fees and taxes. The booking price available (13,500 ISK per person) is based on there being the full 14 guests booked on. With less guests joining the tour the price per person will increase. In the case that there is less than 14 guests on the tour and the remaining guests still want the tour to go ahead then they can secure the tour by paying the rates in the table above, depending on how many the final number of guests are.

Guests can cancel up to 24 hours before the tour with a 90% refund. If their spots are not able to be filled by other guests than the pricing table above would come into effect based on the final number of people. If the remaining guests are not prepared to pay the higher price per person then the entire group can cancel the tour, and they would all be entitled to a 90% refund. 10% of the tour cost is non-refundable to cover transaction costs and preparation of the tour. If the tour doesn’t go ahead as a result than all guests would receive a 90% refund.

If Hidden Iceland is forced to cancel the tour for any unforeseen reason then the booked guests would receive a full refund.
