Your Hidden Iceland guide will pick you up in the morning from the docks of Reykjavík at 7:00 am to commence this private South Coast tour. We start the day by witnessing the powerful Skógafoss waterfall, rumoured to be where a viking treasure is hidden behind, before taking the easy walk up the glacier valley to Sólheimajökull glacier where we’ll get great views over the crevasses of this icy giant and its lagoon. Afterwards we continue further east to where we take an easy walk on the shores of Reynisfjara black sand beach, also allowing for lunch at the Black Sand Restaurant (lunch not included in price). The basalt column rock formations and headland makes for one dramatic beach setting. From here we start to make our way back west towards Reykjavík, but not before visiting Seljalandsfoss waterfall where we can walk behind and get beautiful views from behind the waterfall. Do not forget your rain jacket for this one! From here we drive back into Reykjavík to be on the cruise ship by 4:00 pm.
Pick up time: 7:00 am from the dock in Reykjavík (which cruise ship dock is still to be confirmed) from Brilliance of the Seas cruise ship
Inclusions: Reykjavík pick up and drop off, private transportation in our comfortable vehicle led by one of our wonderful guides for the duration of the day.
Total tour price: 196,000 ISK, to be divided amongst the final number of participants.

This is our official cancellation policy for private tours:
• Cancellation fee of 100.0% is charged if cancelled less than 12 hours before the activity
• Cancellation fee of 10% is charged if cancelled more than 12 hours before the activity
However we have allowed some flexibility in regards to the cruise ship not being able to dock. If for some reason the ship couldn’t dock on the 9th, there will be a full refund. As your ship actually comes into Reykjavik on the 9th the risk of the ship not being in dock on the 10th is very low, especially at a large terminal like Reykjavik. However if you cancelled on the 9th due to the ship not arriving then we can offer you a full refund. If you happened to cancel on the morning of the 9th then we wouldn’t be able to refund in full. We would have to still pay our guide a partial wage for cancelling at such late notice. We would still be able to refund you 70% of the tour price in this case. So as long as we know before 8:00 pm on the 8th September then we can refund in full.
We can also allow a cancellation and refund in full for people that are no longer able to join the cruise/tour anytime up until the 9th September 2020. However we do require full payment of the bus (196,000 ISK) to run the tour. If people cancel and are unable to get replacements to take their spot on the tour, then the price of these people would need to be covered by the rest of the group. The total price of the tour, 196,000 ISK, will be divided by the total number of people on the tour.
